I'm Franco Giaquinto. I'm the CEO and founder of Outbuild. Uh, expertise, I don't know. I'm, I'm very passionate [00:00:30] about innovation, technology, and helping the construction industry move forward. Today I talked about... I gave a quick introduction on Outbuild, what do we do, who do we work [00:00:40] with, but I also talk about the challenges that we see in the industry today.
I talked about the, the adoption issues that I see from construction [00:00:50] companies in adopting technology, as well as what are the shifts that we're seeing in the industry that are happening related to technology. The fact that there's [00:01:00] so many people from the most innovative companies in the space, both owners, GCs, trades, um, it's an interactive conversation.
So you're presenting something and you [00:01:10] get questions. There, there's, you know, discussions between the, the audience. So this is what should happen more and more in construction. Not so much like a one-sided presentation, but a [00:01:20] conversation. So I feel like they did a great job with the CFI today. What is innovation?
Um, tough to put it in words. I would say [00:01:30] solving a problem in the simplest way possible to drive value immediately to a company or a [00:01:40] person or whatever. That's innovation. Like, innovation doesn't have to be something super techy or crazy. It just means how do you solve a problem with technology in the easiest way possible and deliver it, you [00:01:50] know, efficiently.
